Is Red Eye Season 2 Happening?
In September 2024, the makers announced that Red Eye Season 2 will be taking place. The first season got massive ratings for both ITVX and ITV1 so a follow-up season had to be commissioned. The series is expected to be an exact follow-up of the story where the first season ended. There should be six episodes with a similar runtime to the first season.

Who Will Be In The Cast?
Red Eye Season 2 will have Jing Lusi returning as DC Hana Li along with Lesley Sharp (Madeline Delaney) and Jemma Moore (Jess Li) also reprising their characters. However, the makers and ITV have not confirmed whether Richard Armitage will be returning in the role of Doctor Matthew Nolan.
